The Vulcan V2 is no doubt an awesome bait boat, however one thing we disliked were the flappy weed guards. They do work well, but can snag when putting the boat into a bag etc.
We’ve designed these replacement weed guards, to utilise the original pivoting point, however they secure into place using fixing tabs. Hexagon design allows minimal resistance to water flow, whilst reducing the chance of weed / debris entering the props - the hexagons are tapered front to back to aid the water flow through. No screws / glue required, just pop the originals off by carefully twisting the guard inline with the open slot, place the new fixed cover into the slot then pivot into place pushing firmly on the edge of the guard until it clicks into place.
These two colour weed guards are printed apart and snapped together, they fit very well together and will not come apart through normal use. The coloured insert can be replaced or swapped for a different colour / style at a later date if you want to change the style / colour scheme on your boat.
