The Vulcan Mini Zig Release is intended to allow the safe and tangle free release of long zigs from the bait boat.
This product has been designed to work with the Vulcan Mini ONLY.
The Zig Release fits over the standard handle, with side mounted hooks designed to ensure the main body stays put in place during use, with a clever design that minimises space taken up in the hopper and leaves plenty of space for lead and zig kit.
It’s also been designed so the mounting points don’t get in the way when using the handle.
The spool of the Zig Release contains several magnets, one behind the hook indicator which shows the correct orientation to lay the hook, and therefore wind the the excess long hook length around the curved part of the spool, the spool is also kept in place with magnets to ensure the spool doesn’t unintentionally rotate.
The body of the spool holder uses small angles to create a required slight pressure to remove the spool from the holder - this ensures the spool can’t jump out of the slot or be lost during operation.
We have designed the parts to be really robust, but lightweight and fit the hull of the Vulcan Mini like a glove.
The Zig Release is manufactured from the highest quality 3D printed filament.
Supplied Fully assembled, fitment to the boat takes seconds.
