New rear mounting system for mounting a Deeper to the Actor PLUS.

Whilst we are very proud of the original quick release Actor PLUS rear deeper mount, we had several requests for a mounting system that left the hook release system free for dropping rigs & backleads.
Taking some inspiration from our Actor Basic mount we’ve utilised the rear handle mount to create a clamping body which stays permanently connected to the boat, however we’ve now took the design one step further by creating a new secure screw-less design.

On this mount we’ve designed our own sliding dovetail joint, this give a sliding joint for accurately positioning of the arm, with a “lead-in” to make aligning it on assembly easy.

To ensure the arm stays connected we have incorporated a spring loaded locking mechanism - this creates a very easy to use secure connection and means no screws etc that can be lost when taking the arm on & off.

Simply push the button and lift the arm off

As the Deeper is mounted further from the boat, it should give better signal strength.

The body of the mount incorporates 4 moulded brass inserts for connection, rather than the small black square nuts of previous models.

Manufactured from the highest quality 3D printed ASA filament - will not fade or distort in sunlight
Pro Version Thumbscrew includes Black coated Stainless Steel Fixings, Deeper Tube is Real Carbon Fibre & Thumbscrew for easy removal of Deeper tube from Deeper
Supplied with Hexagon Wrench / Allen Key for fitment

PLEASE NOTE :

The Actor PLUS Long Rear deeper mount consists of 3 main parts :

1. The main body assembly : this is designed to be permanently mounted to the boat over the Standard handle mounting point.
It consists of the main body mouldings, along with a short spring & latch assembly.
Once fitted using the supplied hexagon wrench / allen key it gives the boat a secure quick and easy connection point for the Arm & Deeper assembly.

2. The Arm : The arm has a special tapered dovetail join on the end to allow the user to drop it onto the main body of the mount, without the need for screws or tools.

3. The Deeper Tube : The tube is manufactured from Carbon Fibre, for strength and longevity the tube is cored with a M5 Stainless steel Screw, which runs the full length of the tube into the moulded thumbscrew, this gives a stainless steel thread for connection of the deeper.
The thumbscrew version allows the removal of tube assembly from the Deeper without the need of additional tools.
The deeper tube is designed to float and bob up and down self regulating to the chop / waves and loading of the boat.

When the deeper is not required, the angler can remove the arm assembly complete by pressing the latch button whilst lifting the arm upwards and clear of the boat.
